News on the OECI Accreditation and Designation website:
 

The Cambridge Cancer Centre has applied to the OECI Accreditation and Designation Programme.

In October 2011 the Director of the centre Professor Sir Bruce Ponder has signed the A&D Agreement and currently the centre is working on the questionnaires for the preliminary designation. 

Abi Rajan joined the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) in May 2011 after completing an EC funded Erasmus Mundas European Master’s degree in Sustainable Regional Health Systems and health related internships in Brussels, Basque Country and Madrid.

Employed as a researcher with the OECI, she is responsible for coordinating Part 1 of WP12 of the EurocanPlatform Project and a related PhD from the University of Twente. She is supervised by the OECI President, Prof. Dr. Wim van Harten.

From September 2011 onwards, Frédérique Thonon is the new project officer for IGR accreditation and researcher for the EurocanPlatform WP12 Part 2: Scientometrics of translational programs developed within the platform.
