When the application is accepted by the OECI Accreditation and Designation Board and when the Accreditation Agreement is signed, the centres received the first payment order with the initial fee of €5000,- (2010).
If the centre is approved for the peer review visit in the centre (external audit), the centre receive the second payment order of €20.000 (2010).
Underneath document (doc 30) shows the activities that will be covered by each stage of the accreditation fee.
The approval ('Go') of the peer review visit (external audit) depends on the results of the self assessment of the centre. For a 'Go' decision centres have to reach a level of quality and comprehensiveness based on results of the self assessment. The peer review will be postponed for centres that do not yet reach this level. They will be advised by the OECI Accreditation and Designation Group on how to increase the level of quality.
